Greenwood Aikido and Japanese Swordsmanship

Membership

You can join the dojo at any time. The "All Levels" classes are designed to make it easy to step in and begin learning even when you have never done anything like this before.

Aikido requires some level of commitment. You should plan to attend at least once a week. However, to progress in the art you should plan to commit to 2-3 classes a week. You may choose to join on a month-to-month plan, or save by making a 6-month minimum commitment. Monthly dues are charged automatically to a checking account or credit card.

Membership allows access to training at the "All Levels" Aikido classes (see scheduled class times) as well as Iaido (swordsmanship) classes. There are students that train in Aikido, Iaido or both depending on their particular interest. Strictly speaking, the classes are free with dojo membership, meaning that it's the same membership fee whether you train one time or three times a week. Minimum age for membership is 14 with exceptions made based on personal interview with the chief instructor.
