Greenwood Aikido and Japanese Swordsmanship

Beginner's Class - April 2010

New prospective members must first attend a series of 8 Beginner's Classes over a period of 4 weeks on Saturday mornings [9:30-11:00am] and Tuesday evenings [6:30-7:30pm]. The price of the Beginner's Program is $65. Wear t-shirt or sweatshirt and long sweat pants - no jeans, jewelry, shoes or socks. You may wish to bring a handkerchief or small towel to wipe your face and hands. Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before class begins to register in person.

 

Nishio Ryu Aikido requires physical and mental maturity to learn. All classes are for adults ages 16 and up only.

Register in person:
Please plan to arrive about 15 minutes before class begins to register in person and have the registration form completed. Class fees of $65.00 may be paid in cash, check or credit card. Class fees must be paid in full at the time of registration. Valid Identification is also required for class registration.

 

 

 

Membership

Once you have finished your Beginner's Class you are eligable to join as a regular member. Membership is $100 per month and provides access to all classes. Classes are offered throughout the week. Your membership is granted only after personal interview with the chief instructor.

 

Class Schedule

All members may attend the "All Levels" classes as well as Iaido (sword) classes. The second class on Tuesday evening is an Intermediate/Advanced class and is by invitation of the chief instructor only. Membership is for adults ages 16 and up.
